The team is responsible for taking products like Fury (unmanned fighter jet) and Barracuda (air-breathing cruise missile) from concept to product. The team also develops Lattice for Mission Autonomy, Anduril’s premier software platform that enables masses of Fury, Barracuda, and other first and third party robots to collaborate across various missions. We work in close coordination with specialist teams like Perception, Motion Planning, Hardware, and Test Engineering to solve some of the hardest problems facing our customers. We are looking for Software Engineers to design, build, and automate the software platforms and tooling that power our development, simulation, and deployment environments. In this role, you will bridge the gap between our core software platforms and the diverse environments ranging from cloud infrastructure to on-premises and edge hardware where our systems run. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSCurrently hold an active U.S. Secret or above security clearance5+ years of engineering experience with at least 3+ years focused on infrastructure problemsBachelors, Masters, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related fieldExperience with Python and a background in scripting programming languages (Go or Rust exp a plus)Experience with Kubernetes or NixOS in production environmentsAbility to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and established code basesA desire to work on critical software that has a real-world impactPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSStrong background with a focus in simulation or high performance compute managementExperience managing physical rack based deploymentExperience working with GPU/CPU accelerated workflowsKnowledge of military systems and operational tacticsExperience working directly with end usersPer Anduril's expansion plans, we anticipate this job will be based out of Long Beach, CA beginning late 2027.US Salary Range$166,000—$220,000 USDThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
