Job Title Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU / Cardiac Care) Location Lawrenceville, GA | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Schedule Varies) Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a highly specialized 20-bed Cardiac Care ICU serving patients undergoing open heart, vascular, and thoracic surgeries Operate and monitor advanced specialty equipment including intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella devices, CRRT, and epicardial pacemakers Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for critically ill cardiac patients Adhere to unit holiday scheduling expectations, including working 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day After Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve) Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU/Cardiac ICU experience Required: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Required: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Required: NIHSS certification Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Preferred Experience / Skills CCRN certification preferred Experience with specialized cardiac devices such as intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella, and CRRT Prior experience in a cardiovascular or cardiothoracic surgical ICU setting Why Join Us Opportunity to work in a highly specialized cardiovascular ICU environment utilizing advanced technology and devices Gain valuable experience supporting complex open heart, vascular, and thoracic surgical patient populations Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 790692.
