Physical Security Field Supervisor (Access Control & CCTV) Charleston, SC, USA Job Description CBX Solutions, the nation’s leading provider of architectural doors, frames, hardware, specialty products, and complete security integration services, is seeking a Physical Security Field Supervisor to oversee installation teams and manage field operations for access control and CCTV systems. Supportive Culture: Innovation, creativity, teamwork at the heart of everything. Essential Functions Attend weekly job‑site meetings. Schedule and supervise installers each day on the job sites. Conduct toolbox talks. Prepare daily job‑site reports. Use tools properly to ensure safety and protect quality of doors and hardware. Report any damaged products to supervisor. Analyze drawings, sketches, work orders and material safety data sheets to plan layout and assembly. Organize and document safety training, drug screens, and other required documents per contract. Act as liaison between installers and project managers. Maintain detailed records of installation requirements and project specifications to ensure work is performed correctly and efficiently. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to lift or carry 25-50 lbs. frequently. Experience using power tools such as saws and drills. Industry experience with installation of building materials preferred. Must pass pre‑employment drug screen and background check. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong math, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to read and interpret a tape measure. Ability to determine appropriate tools and equipment needed for a job. Physical Demands The position requires physical activity consistent with construction or installation environments. The employee will spend more than two‑thirds of their time standing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, using hands to handle or feel, and reaching with hands and arms. Approximately one‑third of the time may be spent walking and engaging in verbal communication. Frequent lifting and moving of materials weighing 25‑50 pounds is required. Work Environment This role may involve travel to project sites and exposure to a variety of environmental conditions, including outdoor weather, proximity to forklifts or other heavy machinery, and the use of hand tools or hardware.
