JC Handyman is looking for a full-time Handyman Apprentice to join our small, growing company. This is an entry-level position for someone who enjoys hands-on work, wants to learn a wide variety of home-repair skills, and is looking for a long-term opportunity to grow within the company.

We're looking for the right person to invest in and train. As your skills and responsibilities grow, so will your opportunities within JC Handyman.

This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position with hands-on training alongside the owner. You'll learn a wide variety of handyman and home-repair skills, including:

• Drywall repair and finishing
• Painting
• Carpentry and trim work
• Basic plumbing and electrical repairs
• Flooring and tile repairs
• General home repairs and maintenance
• A wide variety of small home projects

This is a physically demanding, hands-on job. You'll be active throughout the workday and should be comfortable lifting and carrying heavy materials, climbing ladders and stairs, and working in a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions.

• Able to communicate clearly and professionally in English with customers and coworkers
• Able to regularly lift and carry more than 50 lbs. and perform demanding physical work throughout the day, including climbing ladders and stairs, kneeling, bending, working overhead, working in tight spaces, and working outdoors in Texas heat and cold
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Able to pass a background check, driving-record check, and drug screening

Previous experience with tools, home repair, maintenance, or the trades is helpful but not required.

Character, dependability, and a willingness to learn are more important than experience.

JC Handyman is based in Perrin, TX , with much of our work in Weatherford, Aledo, west Fort Worth, and surrounding communities. Most days, the apprentice will meet the owner and ride with him to customer jobsites.
