Computer Aided Design Technician

Primary Responsibilities Must have an understanding of Civil CAD-based drafting procedures. Produce drawings using computer-assisted drafting systems (CAD), Civil 3D software Draft plans and detailed drawings for structures, installations, and construction various projects Draw maps, diagrams, and profiles, using cross-sections and surveys, to represent elevations, topographical contours, and structures Correlate, interpret, and modify data obtained from topographical surveys, well logs, and geophysical prospecting reports Finish and duplicate drawings and documentation packages, according to required mediums and specifications for reproduction, photography, or other duplicating methods Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received from Civil Engineers to ensure that they conform to design concepts Provide Engineers and Surveyors with drafting support 2+ years civil or land surveying experience, preferred Proficiency with Civil 3D, Microsoft Office 100% company paid Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Long-Term Disability Insurance for employee Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) Deductible Assistance Flexible Benefits Plan (FSA, Dependent Care) Paid time off including vacation, sick, and 7 major holidays 401K with 4% Company Match Cochran is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, national origin, age, disability, or any other reason prohibited under Federal, State or local laws.
