Store Manager Candidate

Role Overview The Store Manager Candidate supports store operations by assisting with employee supervision, staffing, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service. It also involves participating in opening and closing activities, cash handling, and financial oversight, including reviewing sales and expense reports. The position serves as a temporary development role for future store managers. Key Responsibilities Assist in recruiting, staffing, and training staff. Support merchandising, stocking, and inventory control. Provide excellent customer service and ensure store safety. Help manage cash, deposits, and store security. Maintain store cleanliness and organization. Operate the store in the absence of the manager and review business performance. Complete all required documentation accurately and timely. Qualifications & Skills Ability to interpret manuals, safety rules, and procedures. Strong math skills and cash handling knowledge. Familiarity with inventory, merchandising, and store operations. Effective communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Bilingual skills may be preferred at some locations. Experience & Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience in retail is advantageous. Physical & Working Conditions Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 55 pounds). Occasional climbing and driving.
