Project Coordinator Interns are responsible for actively participating in HCSC’s formal internship program that leverages your skills, knowledge, and capabilities while providing meaningful experience supporting business objectives and member-focused solutions. Working closely with cross-functional teams in both business and technical areas, the Project Coordinator Intern will contribute to project work, analyze information, and support the development of solutions that address organizational needs. The Project Coordinator Intern is responsible for learning and applying specific aspects of the organization's processes, programs, and technologies while demonstrating increasing independence and ownership of assigned deliverables. This role will also need to: Own components of project work and deliverables with guidance from an assigned mentor and manager. Conduct research, analyze data and information, and develop recommendations that informreal businessdecisions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams. Support departmental initiatives that improve business outcomes and the member and client experience. Develop and deliver a final internship presentation to department leadership covering the project, results, and recommendations. Maintain complete confidentiality of company business andcomply withHIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, and applicable compliance policies. What Do You Need To Be Successful? Strong verbal and written communication skills is a strong plus. Demonstrated interpersonal effectiveness. Strong interest in continuous learning and sharing knowledge with peers and team members. Passion and desire to learn about the health care industry and regulated environments. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and an interest in how business impacts retail markets is a strong plus. Ability to manage multiple priorities across projects and work with staff to complete tasks on time. Practical, well-developed PC skills, especially Excel, Word, and Access. What Are the Requirements You Must Meet? Pursuing a master’s degree or higher-level degree with a focus in business administration or healthcare. Other related fields with comparable experience may be considered. Graduation date between December2027and June 2028 Minimumcumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0. Available for the full duration of the10-weekprogram. Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available for this role. What Does the Internship Program Entail? Formal intern orientation to build business and industry acumen. Challenging, hands-on, real-world analytics and stakeholder experience projects with direct exposure to enterprise-level initiatives.
