The Role You'll Play to Create Success

We are excited to announce our search for a full-time Broker Manager in Rhode Island ! In this role, you will have the opportunity to impact the FrankCrum business everyday by promoting ongoing sales growth and client retention through the recruitment and management of broker relationships on a regional level. 

1. Develops, recruits, and grows broker relationships within an assigned territory to generate qualified opportunities, strengthen referral partnerships, and achieve profitable sales growth.
2. Develops and executes territory strategies that identify market opportunities, prioritize broker prospects, expand broker engagement, and support territory sales, pipeline, and revenue objectives.
3. Builds trusted relationships with brokers, agents, CPAs, financial professionals, and other centers of influence to establish FrankCrum as a valued PEO business partner and source of solutions for their clients.
4. Educates, trains, and provides sales support for broker partners on FrankCrum’s PEO solutions, target market, value proposition, competitive differentiators, and referral process to increase broker engagement, qualified referrals and new sales opportunities.
5. Conducts consultative discovery with brokers and prospects to understand business needs and identify appropriate solutions involving payroll, workers’ compensation, employee benefits, HR, and related services.
6. Develops and presents client-specific solutions and proposals, partnering with internal teams to align recommendations with client needs, pricing parameters, risk considerations, and business objectives.
7. Serves as a broker advocate and internal liaison, collaborating with sales, underwriting, operations, implementation, and other internal teams to support a seamless broker and prospective client experience.
8. Manages and monitors the broker sales pipeline and territory performance, maintaining accurate CRM data, forecasts, activity records, and follow-up while using market intelligence and sales data to identify opportunities and risks.
9. Represents FrankCrum in the marketplace through broker meetings, networking events, industry associations, trade shows, conferences, and other business development activities that strengthen relationships and expand market presence.
10. Maintains current industry knowledge and required professional credentials, including PEO, payroll, workers’ compensation, employee benefits, and HR trends and regulations, and collaborate with leadership to achieve established territory, referral, RFP, and revenue objectives.

The Attributes We Seek

1. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, insurance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
2. Minimum of one (1) year of business-to-business sales, business development, or relationship management experience, with PEO, payroll, insurance, employee benefits, HR services, or related industry preferred.
3. Demonstrated success developing and managing broker, agent, referral, or other professional business relationships or equivalent.
4. Active state insurance license preferred; ability to obtain required licensing within 1 year of employment.
5. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
6. Demonstrated ability to independently manage a sales territory, develop a pipeline, and achieve measurable business development objectives.
