Dishwasher - PT

The Golf Club of Amelia Island is seeking a full-time dishwasher to assist our busy à la Carte line and thriving banquet business. 

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will have the ability to learn and grow in a busy culinary environment.
• Have strong initiative, a willingness to be a team player, and a high focus on detail. 
• Understanding or willingness to learn of proper cleaning and sanitation procedures is required.
• High school or a GED is required.

Weekend, Evening, and Holiday availability are required.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
 
Job Duties:

• Washes, stacks, sorts, and stores dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware.
• Maintains a clean kitchen and keeps the dish area clean, organized, and free of clutter.
• Sets up dish stations, including dishwashing machines and sinks.
• Sweep and mop floors at the end of the shift and as needed throughout the day.
• Cleans and sanitizes dry storage areas, freezers, and refrigerators.
• Assists in storing food deliveries as needed.
• Monitors trash cans throughout the shift, making sure to remove full trash cans and boxes as needed and at the end of each shift.
• Maintains the cleanliness of dry storage areas and the organization of storage shelves.
• Maintains clean work surfaces and the cleanliness of sinks, walls, drains, etc.
• Follows Florida sanitation and cleaning procedures.
• Ensures that dishwashers are in working order and reports problems as they arise.
• Assists with closing, including aiding in the sanitation of cooking and food preparation stations.
• Assists in food prep and any other duties requested by the chef and other managers as needed.
