About the Role

As a CNA with Medication Administration Certification, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our clients. Your duties will include assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as administering medications under the supervision of our medical staff. You will also maintain accurate records of client care and collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assisting with daily living activities and administering medications as directed
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of client care and medication administration
• Collaborate with our medical staff to develop and implement personalized care plans
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination

Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Louisiana
• Current certification in Medication Administration (MA)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition clients with minimal assistance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Friendly, patient, and compassionate attitude
