Position Summary
We are looking for an energetic, motivated, and customer-focused Store Manager to lead the daily operations of a Subway restaurant. We provide a two month training program. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional guest experience while driving sales, controlling costs, developing employees, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence.
This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong communication, organization, and a passion for developing people.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing team through coaching, training, and accountability.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain quality team members.
- Create employee schedules that balance labor efficiency with excellent customer service.
- Deliver an outstanding guest experience by ensuring every customer receives fast, friendly, and accurate service.
- Drive sales through local marketing initiatives, suggestive selling, and excellent execution.
- Control food cost, labor, and operating expenses while maximizing profitability.
- Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards are consistently met.
- Maintain inventory levels, complete product ordering, and minimize waste.
- Ensure all company policies, procedures, and operational standards are followed.
- Complete required administrative tasks including payroll, inventory, reports, and documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained restaurant inside and out.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.
- Lead by example while creating a positive, respectful, and team-oriented workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant management or leadership experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate, coach, and develop employees.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Basic computer and point-of-sale system knowledge.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
Preferred Skills
- Restaurant or quick-service management experience.
- Experience with scheduling, inventory management, and food cost control.
- Hiring and interviewing experience.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
