Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health needs.

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy strategies tailored to each client's circumstances.

  • Deliver a variety of therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

  • Provide group, family, and couples therapy sessions, ensuring a supportive and engaging environment.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive client care, improving client outcomes through shared insights and strategies.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops to stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health research and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Madison Behavioral Health, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals and families facing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your role is critical in providing accessible and compassionate care to those who need it most.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

  • An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas is essential.

  • A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is required.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with varied clientele.

Compensation and Benefits\n
