Radiology Tech Associate (Part Time) Jefferson Health Einstein Phila

Job Details Thursdays and Fridays 5:00p.m. – 9:00p.m.; Saturdays 8:00a.m. – 8:00p.m. Responsibilities Assist radiologists, technologists, nurses, and other clinical staff in routine duties and patient care. Perform patient check‑in, preparation for visits, and assistance with imaging procedures. Provide patient transport within the radiology department. Assist technologists with blankets, bedpans, clothing changes, and other patient comfort measures. Inspect and replenish stock and linen in all patient care areas, ensuring adequate inventory of supplies. Prepare examination rooms for the next procedure. Provide backup support to front office registrars and film room staff and perform special projects and cleanup tasks as assigned. Train new transporters and escorts in proper patient‑care techniques. Procure appropriate patient documentation prior to leaving the nursing floor. Perform all other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Physical ability to lift and position patients and assist with patient transfers using beds, wheelchairs, or stretchers. Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects, meeting objectives and deadlines. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy. Education and Experience High‑school graduate or GED equivalent. Medical terminology knowledge preferred. Any combination of training and/or experience that enables the incumbent to perform the listed duties. Previous medical office experience desired. Certifications CPR certification required. Shift & Working Hours The position is a work‑day shift with hours on Thursdays and Fridays (5:00p.m.–9:00p.m.) and Saturdays (8:00a.m.–8:00p.m.).
