Blazer Jobs is hiring a Special Education Teacher in Raytown, MO to support students within an alternative learning and success-focused educational program for the 2026–2027 school year. This position is ideal for educators who excel at building strong student relationships, implementing individualized supports, and helping students overcome academic and behavioral challenges.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education
• Valid Missouri Special Education Teaching Certification
• Ability to meet district and state employment requirements
Responsibilities
• Provide individualized instruction and academic intervention
• Develop and monitor IEP goals and progress
• Build positive relationships with students and families
• Implement behavior support strategies and restorative practices
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Support students in achieving academic, social, and behavioral success
Ideal Candidates

• Experience supporting students with behavioral or emotional needs
• Ability to build rapport and maintain high expectations
