Industrial Maintenance Technician Level 3
Location: San Fernando Valley, CA
Pay: DOE
Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite
This advanced maintenance position is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing machinery and equipment, performing preventive maintenance on building systems, machinery, and equipment, and fabricating tooling to support production. Candidates must have a strong machining and fabrication background along with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair manufacturing machinery and equipment.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on building systems, machinery, and equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical equipment problems.
- Troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Fabricate tooling and components to support production requirements.
- Perform machining and fabrication work as required.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and equipment documentation.
- Assist with machinery adjustments, repairs, and modifications.
- Work with machine operators and production personnel to resolve equipment issues.
- Follow established safety and maintenance procedures.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation.
Qualifications
- Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Strong machining and fabrication background required.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Good understanding of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience performing preventive maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing machinery and equipment.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- CNC programming experience is a plus.
- PLC programming experience is a plus.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
