Job Description

We are seeking a Production / Technical Support III to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise production support, SQL, UNIX/Linux, job scheduling, and monitoring tools and a proven ability to improve application stability, resolve incidents, and optimize monitoring and automation across complex financial systems .

Responsibilities:

• Respond to and resolve business queries for the ERFT space and Treasury portfolios.
• Communicate application status and health to line of business and management with clear updates.
• Identify improvements in monitoring, application stability, and root cause analysis speed.
• Partner with Technology Infrastructure and Development teams on releases, upgrades, and server changes.
• Manage the user query mailbox and provide timely, appropriate responses.
• Support feeds and batch processes, manage alerts, and maintain proactive monitoring.
• Utilize ITSM, ITRS, JIRA, Dynatrace, and Splunk to update tickets and generate reports.
• Lead incident management, notifications, and escalations per ITIL practices.
• Maintain documentation and knowledge articles to support readiness and resiliency.
• Coordinate resolutions with development teams and contribute to metrics reporting.
• Plan and execute Business Continuity testing and manage related documentation.
• Organize and run meetings independently to drive issue resolution.
• Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual and repeatable tasks, including use of AI tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of production support experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong SQL proficiency with Oracle and Teradata experience.
• Strong UNIX/Linux skills with hands-on experience in grids, containers, and cloud-based platforms.
• Python scripting for support automation and tooling.
• Working knowledge of Autosys and Bob jobs and enterprise scheduling practices.
• Monitoring expertise with Splunk, Dynatrace, and ITRS.
• Familiarity with ITIL concepts, including Incident and Problem Management, and ITSM tools such as Remedy and MyITSM.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile ways of working.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical partners.
• Strong project and time management skills with the ability to operate in high-pressure situations and multi-regional teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in financial services, including Treasury and Liquidity domains.
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop, Quartz, grid computing, cloud platforms, and containers.
• Experience with Tableau for reporting and metrics visualization.
• Exposure to Windows OS operations in support contexts.
• Proficiency with AI tools to enhance investigation, triage, and automation.
• Willingness to provide rotational stand-by support for production systems outside business hours as needed.
• Ability to communicate directly and constructively in meetings and via remote collaboration tools.
