Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic interventions following the PT plan of care
• Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately
• Empower patients through education and customized home exercise programs
• Communicate patient status clearly to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Maintain a safe environment by following infection control and compliance standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active state PTA license or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to execute treatment plans and collaborate seamlessly with interdisciplinary teams
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

Education

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in a variety of therapy interventions
• Strong patient education and home exercise program expertise
• Accurate documentation and record-keeping
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
