Position Summary
The FP&A Analyst – Marketing will serve as a key partner to the Marketing FP&A function, supporting financial planning, forecasting, and performance analytics across marketing channels. This role will work closely with the Director of Marketing FP&A and cross-functional stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making, improve marketing efficiency, and enhance financial visibility across the funnel.
This position is highly analytical and execution-oriented, with a strong focus on financial modeling, performance tracking, and continuous process improvement through automation and simplification.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support weekly forecasts, monthly pacing, and annual planning (AOP) processes for marketing expenses, lead generation, and volume drivers
Build and maintain financial models linking marketing investment to volume, revenue, and contribution margin
Analyze marketing performance across channels (Digital, Offline) utilizing various conversion metrics and contribution margin profitability
Prepare weekly and monthly reporting packages highlighting trends, variances, and key insights for leadership
Develop and maintain dashboards to improve visibility into marketing funnel performance and efficient metrics
Maintain and enhance financial models, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and alignment with evolving business needs
Identify opportunities to streamline, standardize, and automate reporting and forecasting processes
Support month-end close activities, including variance analysis between actuals, forecast, and plan
Conduct deep-dive analyses on marketing performance, channel mix optimization, and investment decisions
Support business cases for new initiatives, vendor evaluations, and efficiency improvement projects
Experience and Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
1-3 years in financial analysis, consulting, strategic/marketing finance, or related field
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status)
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
Strong quantitative and analytical competency, Excel skills are a must
Familiarity with marketing metrics (CPL, conversion rates, ROI/ROAS) preferred
Experience with NetSuite and Tableau are a plus
Travel Requirements:
No travel required (stationary work location)
Overtime/Additional Hours Requirements:
Additional and non-standard hours may be required (exempt).
