Job Summary:
The Roofing Maintenance Representative is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and providing service solutions for commercial and residential roofing systems. This role ensures client satisfaction by delivering high-quality roofing maintenance, identifying repair needs, and recommending proactive solutions to extend roof lifespan and performance. The representative will also serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding maintenance programs and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections of roofing systems to identify potential issues and recommend maintenance solutions.
• Perform minor roofing repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Document inspection findings, maintenance performed, and repair recommendations.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding roofing conditions, recommended maintenance plans, and cost estimates.
• Assist in developing and presenting maintenance proposals to clients.
• Coordinate with operations and repair teams to schedule and complete service work.
• Maintain accurate service records, reports, and client communications.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, OSHA regulations, and company standards.
• Promote company maintenance programs and support business development efforts.
• Perform roof inspections to identify deficiencies, leaks, or areas needing repair.
• Apply roof coatings (acrylic, silicone, elastomeric, polyurethane, etc.) and waterproofing systems according to manufacturer specifications.
• Prepare roof surfaces by cleaning, priming, and repairing before coating or waterproofing applications.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on roof systems including patching, sealing, and reinforcement of seams, flashings, and penetrations.
• Safely operated tools, equipment, and materials required for roof coating and waterproofing.
• Work with supervisors and project managers to ensure accurate documentation of work performed.
• Maintain high safety standards by following OSHA and company safety procedures.
• Provide customer service support by explaining maintenance needs and work performed.
• Assist with inventory, material handling, and maintaining clean and organized work areas.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required); technical training or certification in roofing or construction (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in roofing maintenance, inspection, or related construction field.
• Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and repair techniques.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical manuals.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.

Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience in the roofing industry.
• Proven experience managing large-scale roofing projects, production teams, and multiple job sites.
• Strong understanding of roofing materials, systems, and installation processes.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, Salesforce and general computer skills.
• Knowledge of roofing materials, services, and industry best practices is a plus.

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to visit job sites, occasionally requiring walking, standing, or climbing to inspect roofing work or oversee operations.
• Occasional travel may be required for site visits, client meetings, or industry events.
