Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Rotating Weekends | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit, making clinical decisions and taking actions within the full scope of nursing practice
• Perform unit procedures including IV initiation, NG tube placement, Foley catheter insertion, dressing changes, and assistance with ADLs
• Promote a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and care team members in accordance with facility policies, procedures, and standards
• Demonstrate competency in patient experience standards including AIDET, bedside reporting, hourly rounding, and service recovery (LEARN)
• Supervise other staff as designated within the department and maintain clinical practice consistent with facility standards
• Document patient care accurately using the facility's electronic documentation system

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License in Texas required — temporary licenses are not accepted; active Compact RN License also accepted
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of Med/Telemetry specialty experience required
• Minimum 2+ years of hospital experience required
• No call requirements for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech electronic documentation system preferred
• Strong background in patient experience initiatives and service recovery frameworks
