Senior Technical Leader For Automation And Engineering Required Skills & Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering 10–15+ years of experience in industrial automation or manufacturing systems Strong experience with PLC programming and industrial controls Proven ability to lead end-to-end engineering programs including system architecture and execution strategy Experience managing scope, schedules, and cross-functional engineering teams across complex projects Background in mechanical system design and material handling systems Strong systems-thinking and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to drive technical decisions Nice to Have Skills & Experience: Experience with ASRS systems or warehouse automation technologies Robotics integration experience (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, etc.) Knowledge of functional safety standards (ISO 13849, IEC 61508) Experience working with HMI/SCADA architecture and industrial networking Background in commissioning, validation, and system ramp-up for large-scale automation projects Job Description: This role acts as a senior technical leader supporting large-scale automation and engineering initiatives within a complex, high-volume manufacturing environment. The individual will own system architecture and drive end-to-end execution across controls, automation, and mechanical design while leading multidisciplinary engineering teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining system-level design strategy, overseeing automation solutions such as PLCs, robotics, and material handling systems, and ensuring alignment across engineering disciplines and stakeholders. This person will manage project scope, timelines, and design reviews, while coordinating with vendors, integrators, and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions. The role also plays a key part in commissioning and ramping up systems, driving throughput and performance improvements, and leading continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, reliability, and overall system performance.
