\n \nRole: AWS AI/Data Engineer
\nLocation: Lafayette, LA / Knoxville, TN / Birmingham, AL
\nType: Full Time Direct Hire (Benefits - 401K + Relocation expenses + etc.)
\n \nOnly apply if you have 8+ years of experience and are open to W-2 opportunities or H-1B transfers.
\n \nResponsibilities:
\n- \n
- Practical experience with AI/GenAI tools on AWS — think Bedrock, SageMaker, Amazon Q, or similar platforms \n
- Comfortable working with embeddings, RAG patterns, and vector databases \n
- Solid background with AWS data services (Glue, Athena, DynamoDB, RDS, Redshift) \n
- Experience building data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration workflows \n
- Know your way around CloudWatch for logging, alerting, troubleshooting, and tuning performance \n
- Comfortable collaborating with security, data, and application teams to support POCs and drive AI/cloud adoption. \n
