Personal Care Assistant

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in Eastpointe, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to ensure their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Help with mobility and transfer activities safely
Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed
Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Observe and report any changes in clients' conditions or needs to supervisors
Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation

Requirements

Previous experience in personal care or home health preferred but not required
Ability to communicate effectively and show empathy
Reliable transportation to and from Eastpointe, MI work location
Ability to pass background checks and comply with regulatory requirements

Benefits

Competitive hourly wage of $14.00 - $19.00
