About the Position

Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week) | 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Telemetry unit with a standard patient ratio of 4:1, occasionally 5:1
• Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Perform rhythm identification as required upon unit orientation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver safe, high-quality nursing care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum of 2 years of Telemetry experience within the past 3 years
• Strong cardiac skills and demonstrated proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Ability to pass a proctored, open-answer rhythm identification test upon start (two attempts allowed)
• Must wear Navy Blue scrubs

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-acuity Telemetry or Step-Down unit setting
• Familiarity with structured cardiac monitoring protocols and documentation practices
