Manufacturing Supervisor - 3rd Shift

Manufacturing SupervisorMust be able to foster BEL USA'S mission and core values to help drive the organization towards a more constructive culture and higher performance. The Manufacturing Supervisor will oversee daily activities of the production department (Printing, Packing, Unpacking), ensuring alignment with company objectives for production, quality, service, and cost. In addition, this position will supervise, motivate, counsel, and if necessary, discipline direct reports while collaborating closely with management.Essential Job Functions:Directs daily production activities of assigned manufacturing area(s).Supports and administers approved company policies and clearly communicates new policies and objectives to all associates.Balances quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.Continuously working to improve in all areas.Analyzes departmental flow. Investigates, justifies, and initiates productivity and/or efficiency improvements.Participates in the recruitment and selection of new associates.Provides orientation and on-the-job training to ensure that the expectations of each position are defined and understood.Ensures that Manufacturing areas are maintained at an acceptable level at all times.Reliable, regular attendance is essential.Supports teamwork through active participation and/or by helping team ideas work.Performs duties safely and in accordance with Company safety policies.Other duties and special projects as assigned.Essential Qualifications:Education/Certification: High School Diploma or equivalent.Experience/Knowledge Required:Candidates should be results orientated with strong, positive leadership skills.At least 5 years warehouse experience required, and comprehensive product knowledge.Previous experience with associate training, job coaching/counseling, and performance management.Bi-lingual fluent in English and Spanish languageAbility to interpret general business and financial reports, write and interpret operating procedures, and effectively present information.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to organize and prioritize workload in a fast paced team environment with multiple deadlinesComputer skills including e-mail and Microsoft Office products.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
