Responsibilities We invite you to join our team of Registered Nurses in the 36-bed Psychiatric Acute Unit where the RNs are responsible for: Providing direct patient care, observation and management of behavioral health patients. Assessment, plan and implement care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. Takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team. Manage de-escalation of behavioral disturbances. Incentives This position is eligible for New Hire Incentives. Qualifications Required Experience/Specialized Skills One (1) year of RN experience Current CA Registered Nurse License Current BLS from the American Heart Association Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in nursing Previous RN experience in Behavioral Health and/or ED experience Benefit Status: Part-time with benefits. Rate: $59.16 – $85.68 per hour (California pay range). The actual pay will be based on relevant experience and internal equity within the pay range. In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, Scripps Health posts the pay range for all jobs. Please note that this range is applicable for employees who reside in California only. A geographical pay differential may be applied for remote employees who reside out of state.
