Fund Analyst (Grants)
Location Dallas, TX 75201 | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $25/hour
• Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• W2 | Full-Time

ROLE IMPACT
The Fund Analyst supports the City’s grant acquisition and fund development efforts by identifying funding opportunities, preparing proposals, and monitoring awarded grants. This role ensures departments have the resources, guidance, and performance tracking needed to secure and manage public and private funding. Success is defined by timely submissions, compliant grant management, and measurable fund-raising outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
• Support and collaborate with the Grants Manager to advance grant acquisition and post-award management activities.
• Conduct donor and funding research to identify grant opportunities; communicate findings to City departments and community organizations.
• Draft, edit, and submit grant proposals; prepare briefings and periodic status reports on grant and fundraising activity.
• Coordinate with City departments and public, private, and nonprofit organizations to implement approved grants.
• Develop and administer performance measurement systems to track fundraising metrics and deliver feedback on outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Knowledge of grant development, fundraising strategies, grant applications, and grant management processes.
• Proficiency in database management systems and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Skills
• Ability to conduct grant-related training for internal departments and external partners.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively in a consensus-driven environment.
