Associate Producer (Commercial P&C Franchise Practice)

Associate Producer – Affinity Team We are seeking an Associate Producer to join our Affinity team at Marsh to help grow and deepen relationships with the P&C Franchise Business Segment. This role can be based out of one of our Central US offices such as Urbandale, IA; Chicago, IL; Detroit, MI; Kansas City, MO; Minneapolis, MN; and Indianapolis, IN . It is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office. We will count on you to: Develop and manage a prospect list with the ability to prioritize lead and contact cycles. Maintain a sales funnel with the ability to move prospects close. Be comfortable with cold calling warm leads and prospects. Have the ability to network remotely and use platforms such as Zoom and Teams for remote conversations with clients around the country. Grow and develop your personal "brand" and be a trusted advisor to our clients. Build an internal relationship with other sales professionals to leverage best practices and techniques in selling to franchise owners. Be an eager learner in all aspects of sales techniques to new insurance products and changing business conditions. What you need to have: Property & Casualty license – REQUIRED A consultative sales approach. Experience with cold calling or direct client reach out. 2-3 years of experience in commercial insurance. The salary range posted reflects the broader compensation range for this role within its lifecycle. The anticipated hiring range for this opportunity is $75,000 to $80,000 base salary, with eligibility for an uncapped sales bonus. All Marsh colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person. The applicable base salary range for this role is $70,300 to $149,700. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
