JOB DESCRIPTION:

WHAT THE HIRING MANAGER IS LOOKING FOR:

• Proven Senior Project Manager / program manager . NOT A DIRECTOR LEVEL ...
• Must be on the West Coast + willing to be in Carlsbad Tues - Thurs (all day ). That might not be every week.
• Able to do the work, not just tell someone what to do
• Preferred ** Techno-Functional - who can talk to the BASIS team about what needs to happen in a landscape and also understands a business area.
• Preferred ** S/4 HANA 2021 or higher preferred
• MUST BE ** self-starter who doesn't wait for direction, someone who will make decisions.
• Must work well with other consultants.
• We don't want a pure PM. It has to be a pure PM plus techno-functional - lots of seasoning

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end SAP implementation projects.
• *** Aerospace & Defense industry experience HIGHLY preferred.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, technical leads, and end-users.
• Ensure project milestones are met within agreed upon timelines and budget.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, and monitor progress continuously.
• Address potential risks and issues, offering effective resolutions.
• Serve as the primary contact for client stakeholders, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure deliverables are aligned with business requirements and company standards.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field.
• Min. 10 years ' experience in SAP project management ,
• At least 2 full-cycle SAP implementations .
• SAP certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of SAP methodologies and best practices.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Travel required ** 3 days/week on-site the first 10 weeks
