Location 10411 E 92 Highway,Suite 101,Tampa, FL, 33610,United States Base Pay $72,000.00 - $88,000.00 / Year Employee Type Exempt FT Manage Others No Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage material planning activities to ensure production lines have the necessary materials available to support efficient operations and on-time completion of production orders. Determine inventory requirements to maximize inventory turns and improve cash flow. Compile and maintain accurate manual or computerized records, including inventory balances, work-in-process reports, and material status information. Recommend process improvements based on analysis, research, and experience. Obtain price quotations from suppliers and evaluate pricing, specifications, availability, and lead times. Prepare and issue purchase orders in a timely manner through company systems. Create and maintain purchased item records, including pricing, supplier information, planning parameters, and inventory settings. Collaborate with Production, Quality, Inventory Control, Receiving, and other departments to determine material requirements and resolve supplier-related issues. Proactively seek training and knowledge on company products, systems, supply chain processes, safety procedures, and quality standards. Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and other projects as assigned. Proactively communicate issues related to safety, quality, delivery performance, supplier concerns, or company policies and procedures. Perform additional duties and assist other departments as required based on business needs. Requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field preferred. 5+ years of experience in Purchasing required. Customer service experience preferred. Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus. Demonstrated planning, analytical, organizational, and project management skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience with Business Central systems preferred. Strong negotiation, verbal communication, written communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong mathematical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to learn and adapt in a team-oriented environment. Physical Demands / Work Environment Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and through electronic communication methods. Must be able to visually inspect materials, inventory, and supplier shipments within the manufacturing environment. Work is performed in both an air-conditioned office environment and a manufacturing facility with varying temperatures, noise levels, and production activity. Consistent attendance is required to support material planning and purchasing activities. Frequent walking and occasional climbing, kneeling, or balancing.
