Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) travel assignment in Winnebago, Nebraska. Start date: 09/27/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,191–$2,224 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Nights. Setting: hospital-based emergency department. Employer: Healthforce Healthcare LLC. This role requires active RN licensure, CCNE-accredited nursing education, and professional ER experience.

Responsibilities
- Assess patients presenting to the ED, triage based on history, physical exam, and chief complaint.
- Provide direct nursing care for acutely ill and/or critically ill patients; administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products as prescribed.
- Operate and monitor specialized ER equipment; maintain patient safety and monitor ongoing therapies.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure timely treatment plans.
- Initiate patient education plans as prescribed and document care concisely and accurately; uphold HIPAA and professional standards.

Requirements
- Current, full, unrestricted RN license from any U.S. state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or a U.S. territory.
- Associate, bachelor's, or higher degree in nursing from a CCNE-accredited program; must have passed the NCLEX.
- Minimum two (2) years of professional nursing experience; at least one (1) year in an Emergency Room setting preferred.
- Current certification or willingness to obtain ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP, and CPR.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently; strong communication skills.
- Ability to lift 20–50 lbs and work nights; must pass required background and criminal records checks as applicable.
