Sawyer – $20-$21/hr (Chicopee, MA)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Sawyer to support production operations by cutting lumber and materials to precise specifications. This role is essential in ensuring accurate components for structural assemblies in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities:

Operate saw equipment to cut wood materials based on specifications
Read and interpret cut sheets, measurements, and work orders
Ensure accuracy and consistency of cuts
Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
Assist with material handling and general production support as needed

Requirements:

Previous experience operating saws or woodworking equipment preferred
Ability to read a tape measure and work with precise measurements
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet throughout the shift
Manufacturing or construction background is a plus

Schedule & Pay:

$20-$21/hour
2nd Shift
Full-time, with overtime opportunities
