The opportunity offers the chance to work in a fast‑paced hospital environment alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team while treating a diverse adult patient population. You'll evaluate and treat patients recovering from orthopedic procedures, neurological conditions, trauma, cardiac events, and other acute medical diagnoses, helping them safely return to their highest level of function. Position Highlights Acute Care Hospital 13‑Week Travel Contract Full‑Time Schedule Adult Patient Population Collaborative Interdisciplinary Team Austin, Texas Responsibilities Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and reassessments Develop individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals Treat orthopedic, neurological, cardiac, trauma, and medically complex patients Provide gait training, transfer training, balance activities, mobility training, and therapeutic exercise Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, case managers, and rehabilitation professionals Complete timely documentation and patient progress reports Assist with discharge planning and patient/caregiver education Qualifications Acute Care experience preferred Texas PT License Required BLS Required Why Austin?
