Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical assessments and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in the assessment and diagnosis of surgical conditions through skilled interpretation of imaging studies and lab results
• Collaborate intimately with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide essential intraoperative support, including room preparation, patient positioning, and instrument delivery during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, which includes medication administration, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree obtained from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations focusing on surgical disciplines is highly preferred

Certifications and Licenses

• Current, unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are essential
• Active state licensure or eligibility to practice as a Physician Assistant
