??? Position Overview - Extrusion Operator In this role, you will be responsible for safely setting up and operating extrusion machinery to produce high-quality plastic cable products. You'll work hands-on with modern equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure production goals are met while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
?? Key Responsibilities - Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion machines to manufacture plastic cables
- Perform basic troubleshooting and resolve production issues to minimize downtime
- Accurately follow production schedules and job specifications
- Maintain quality standards by inspecting products and ensuring adherence to guidelines
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety protocols
? What You Bring - High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in manufacturing preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow technical instructions
- Solid problem-solving and basic math skills
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
