Job Description

The Assembler accurately and efficiently assembles lids onto cups, applies labels and serial codes, and scans serial codes into the system to support smooth production operations in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble lids onto cups with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Apply labels and serial codes to cups according to established procedures and quality standards.
• Scan serial codes into the system to ensure accurate tracking and documentation of products.
• Follow standardized work instructions and production schedules to meet daily output goals.
• Inspect products during and after assembly to identify and correct any defects or inconsistencies.
• Handle and move boxes and materials as needed, including lifting up to 10 pounds when required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety and housekeeping guidelines.
• Work effectively in a repetitive production environment while maintaining focus and consistent performance.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies while working on the production floor.

Essential Skills

• Entry-level manufacturing experience such as general production, mechanical assembly, or assembly work.
• Good manual dexterity to perform very repetitive, hands-on tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for extended periods while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Capability to lift up to 10 pounds and move boxes or materials as required.
• Basic ability to use scanning equipment or systems to record serial codes.
• Attention to detail to ensure correct labeling, coding, and assembly of products.
• Reliability and punctuality to support consistent production operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in a production, packaging, or general labor role in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Comfort working in a structured, process-driven environment with repetitive tasks.
• Willingness to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Ability to sit or stand at a workstation for extended periods, using high-top seating as needed.
• Strong focus on quality and accuracy in all aspects of assembly and labeling.

Work Environment

The role is based in a clean, air-conditioned warehouse and manufacturing facility designed for comfort and efficiency. The environment is repetitive and process-oriented, with a focus on consistent quality and safety. Employees may wear one earbud on the production floor, contributing to a more comfortable and focused workday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Petersburg, FL.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
