Job Description As a Security Officer State Licensed Unarmed Patrol in Seattle, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy government transportation location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce security‑related incidents, and support riders and staff through strong customer service and communication. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $29.50 / Hour Job Schedule Mon: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM Tue: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM Sun: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to visitors, riders, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a public transportation location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, parking areas, facilities, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns. Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing foot traffic, and support orderly operations during routine activity, service interruptions, and/or special events. Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders regarding security‑related incidents, hazards, and policy concerns while maintaining a professional presence. Minimum Requirements Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. A state, county, or city issued security‑related license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
