We are searching for a fast‑pace individual with experience in internet‑driven social network marketing strategies, focused on the use of LinkedIn and Twitter to generate leads. Candidates must be located in San Diego, CA. Experience in internet‑based and email‑based marketing strategies is needed. Experience with website design, WordPress, email marketing and design, and SEO strategies are a plus. The ideal candidate should have some scientific background to be able to understand and implement novel strategies, evaluate competition, customer needs, and the services provided by the Company. Compensation will be based on commissions generated from new revenue. Data Analysis Internship (Part‑Time) The company is seeking a part‑time intern to support the data analysis efforts of our internal discovery programs funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIAID). On a monthly basis, hundreds of experimental molecules are tested at RetroVirox to determine their antiviral and immunomodulatory activities using a variety of biological tests, including high content assays. The assay readouts generate vast amounts of data that require analysis and interpretation to guide the structure–activity relationship (SAR) efforts currently ongoing at the company. We are seeking highly proactive candidates able to handle large quantities of data and interpret their results. This is a paid position. Responsibilities Analyze biological data derived from flow cytometry and other data readouts Interpret data and present in written format to supervisor Follow specific SOP procedures to analyze data and identify errors Assist scientists in the company with their data analysis efforts Requirements Being enrolled in studies in one of the local universities in the San Diego area in the fields of Biology, Bioinformatics, Medicine, or Engineering Excellent Microsoft Excel (advanced or professional) software skills Ability to learn other complex software required for data analysis (flow cytometry, GraphPad Prism) Previous experience in a biological laboratory or with data analysis of complex biological processes Availability to work at the company’s facilities for segments of 3‑4 hours a day for at least 3 days per week and have reliable transportation means to come to our facilities Only electronic applications will be accepted.
