Full Stack Engineer

Job Summary

The Full Stack Engineer will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications supporting risk management and other business-critical functions. This role involves building scalable full-stack solutions using modern Java technologies, cloud platforms, and distributed architectures while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Angular, Spring Boot, Oracle, AWS, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality full-stack applications supporting enterprise risk management solutions.

• Develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

• Build responsive and scalable frontend applications using Angular.

• Design and optimize distributed application architectures for business-critical systems.

• Develop and optimize Oracle database objects, including SQL, PL/SQL packages, procedures, collections, and ref cursors.

• Perform data analysis, data modeling, and database design to support application requirements.

• Develop and maintain event-driven solutions using Kafka.

• Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes and AWS EKS environments.

• Design technical solutions and contribute to application architecture decisions.

• Provide technical leadership and mentor Agile Scrum team members.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable software solutions.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git, Jenkins, UDeploy, Swagger, and Datadog.

• Develop, test, troubleshoot, and support applications across UNIX and Windows environments.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Create and maintain technical documentation and development standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• 5+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Java.

• Strong experience with Angular and Spring Boot.

• Hands-on experience with Oracle databases, SQL, and PL/SQL.

• Experience with Oracle Packages, Procedures, Collections, and Ref Cursors.

• Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.

• Experience deploying applications on Kubernetes and AWS EKS.

• Experience designing distributed application architectures.

• Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring Agile Scrum teams.

• Experience designing technical solutions for enterprise applications.

• Experience with CI/CD tools including Git, Jenkins, UDeploy, Swagger, and Datadog.

• Experience working with Spring IDE and Eclipse in UNIX and Windows environments.

• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.

• Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies.

• Excellent analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with financial services, brokerage, or risk management domains.

• Experience supporting Market Risk, Collateral Risk, or Operations Risk applications.

• Experience with cloud-native application modernization.

• Familiarity with enterprise DevOps and software delivery best practices.
