Confidential Opportunity – Logistics & Regulatory Compliance Manager
Alliance Workforce Solutions has partnered with a well-established and rapidly growing third-party logistics (3PL) provider specializing in pharmaceutical and healthcare distribution. We are conducting a confidential search for an experienced Logistics & Regulatory Compliance Manager to lead warehouse operations while ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations.

Position Summary
The Logistics & Regulatory Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a regulated distribution facility while ensuring compliance with FDA, GDP/GMP, DSCSA, Board of Pharmacy, and company quality standards. This individual will lead warehouse personnel, drive operational performance, maintain inventory accuracy, support customer requirements, and serve as the facility's regulatory compliance leader.
The ideal candidate is an experienced operations professional who can build high-performing teams, improve processes, maintain audit readiness, and ensure the safe and compliant handling of pharmaceutical products.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
- Direct all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and value-added services.
- Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and on schedule.
- Optimize labor utilization while maintaining service level expectations.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and inspection-ready facility.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop warehouse associates and supervisors.
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance reviews, coaching sessions, and corrective actions when necessary.
- Develop future leaders through training and employee development.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with FDA, DSCSA, GDP/GMP, OSHA, USP, and applicable Board of Pharmacy regulations.
- Partner with Quality Assurance to oversee regulatory compliance for prescription drug storage and distribution.
- Serve as the primary contact during regulatory inspections and customer audits.
- Coordinate pharmacy inspections and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
- Maintain licensing, documentation, and regulatory records required by federal and state agencies.
- Stay current on changing pharmacy laws and regulatory requirements while providing compliance training to staff.
Inventory & Quality
- Maintain inventory integrity through cycle counts, reconciliation, investigations, and root cause analysis.
- Ensure accurate transactions within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain documentation supporting regulatory compliance and audit readiness.
Customer & Operational Excellence
- Partner with Client Services to resolve customer issues and support client-specific requirements.
- Monitor operational KPIs including:
- Inventory Accuracy
- Shipping Accuracy
- On-Time Performance
- Labor Productivity
- Customer Satisfaction
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and standardize processes.
Safety
- Promote a strong culture of workplace safety.
- Conduct facility and equipment inspections.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure OSHA compliance and safe operating procedures are consistently followed.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 5 years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics leadership experience.
- Experience leading warehouse teams in a regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control.
- Experience with FDA, GDP/GMP, pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical device, or regulated 3PL operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Experience serving as a Designated Representative or supporting Board of Pharmacy licensing.
- Knowledge of DSCSA, USP, FDA, and state pharmacy regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- Experience preparing facilities for regulatory inspections and customer audits.
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to successfully pass all required background screenings.
- Must be eligible to meet state Designated Representative requirements where applicable.
- Must be able to work onsite during normal business hours.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance are essential.
