Phlebotomist, 40 Hour Days, 7am-3:30pm

Job Description Contributes to the Hospital's mission by drawing blood from patients and collecting and documenting specimens based on physician orders. This clinical staff position is the face of the lab and their effort starts the whole laboratory process, providing phlebotomy draws with attention to patient comfort and the physician orders. Timely and accurate processing and documentation of the specimens impact the entire laboratory process. Qualifications Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience Required: Phlebotomy experience or certification. Experience Preferred: At least one year of clerical or secretarial experience. Licenses, Registrations, Certifications Preferred: Phlebotomy certification Pay Range $21.00 - $28.26 The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
