Daycare Worker

Spearman ISD is in search of a full time Daycare Worker for the Little Lynx Daycare. This position is a 12 month position and the district will pay an additional $535 per month towards applicants health insurance.


Primary Purpose:

1. Must be at least 18 years of age;
2. High school diploma or its equivalent
3. Must pass a background check

• Plan, prepare materials and implement daily learning activities with children
• Obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid Certification
• Coordinate with director to meet the needs of the children
• Ensure program compliance with TXDFPS
• Supervise children closely to ensure saftey and security
• Assist with physical functions such as feeding, diapering, toileting, walking and standing
• Interact with children showing affection, interest and respect
• Monitor behavior, provide instruction, give guidance and serve as a role model
