How you'll contribute A Sleep Technicianwho excels in this role:
Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, and completion of a program in Polysomnography (or equivalent experience as a Polysomnographic Technician) Additional requirements include:

How you'll contribute A Sleep Technicianwho excels in this role:
- Prepares for the arrival of the patient by setting up and preparing the equipment for the ordered test.
- Interviews patients to determine sleep disorder issues and to explain testing procedures.
- Performs testing and any additional testing required for the sleep disorder that is noted.
- Scores, interprets, and reports results of sleep studies.
- Educates patients about test results, sleep disorders, community support groups, and available resources.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, and completion of a program in Polysomnography (or equivalent experience as a Polysomnographic Technician) Additional requirements include:
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association required.
- Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or equivalent.
- Registered Sleep Technologist (RPSGT).
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience preferred.
