You dive into the logic on a Mitsubishi or Allen‑Bradley PLC, confirm I/O, check a VFD parameter set, and resolve a pneumatic issue—all before the next production target. What success looks like- Rapid troubleshooting of robotic, PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment.
- Confident repairs on AC/DC servo drives, VFDs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Preventive maintenance plans that prevent repeat failures and extend asset life.
- Fluent interpretation of electrical schematics; accurate equipment installation and wiring.
- Consistent machine safety inspections and strict LOTO practices.
- Two-year college or technical school credentials; and/or 5+ years of hands-on mechanical/electrical maintenance experience.
- Direct PLC experience with Mitsubishi and Allen‑Bradley platforms.
- Balanced strength in electrical troubleshooting and mechanical maintenance (both are essential).
- Experience with AC & DC servo drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, and variable frequency drives.
- Curious, quick learner who tackles tough diagnostics.
- High frustration tolerance; positive attitude under pressure.
- Juggles competing priorities with strong situational awareness.
- Works independently and collaborates effectively within a team.
- Leads with a safety-first mindset.
