This position is being reposted and will replace posting 7901 because the hiring manager did not see Data Modeling experience needed for the position. This role will focus on Data Modeling using ERWIN or a similar tool and Reverse Engineering and requires at least 3 years of experience. DBA experience is a plus but not the main focus of the role.Will close to submissions on 10/1/2025 5:00PM EST.Duration of the Contract: 12 MonthsPossibility for Extension: YesWork Location: 100% On-site in Blythewood SC, Monday - FridayCandidate Location: Nationwide and Candidate must relocate to SC Prior to Starting role.Key duties and Responsibilities:Create and update data models and documentation using ERWINPerforming reverse and forward engineering of database structures.Providing best practices for data modeling, metadata management, and documentation.Designing, developing, and maintaining logical and physical data models using ERwin Data Modeler.Ensuring database designs support scalability, integrity, and performance requirements.Identify data integrity and consistency issues. Provide reporting and recommendations to address the issues.Identify and aid with duplicate data resolution.Collaborating with data architects, DBAs, developers, and business analysts to translate business requirements into data models.Managing version control of data models and maintaining model repositories.Supporting data governance and compliance initiatives through effective data modeling strategies.Same modeling activities may be required for MS SQL databases.
