Key Responsibilities Mechanical Assembly Assemble complex mechanical and electromechanical systems, subassemblies, and prototypes according to engineering specifications, blueprints, and work instructions. Perform precision fitting, alignment, and adjustments to ensure system functionality. Testing And Troubleshooting Conduct functional tests to validate system performance. Identify and resolve mechanical or system issues during assembly. Quality Assurance Inspect parts and completed assemblies for compliance with quality standards and specifications. Document assembly parameters and test results per the defined processes. Collaboration Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to optimize assembly processes and ensure timely delivery of projects. Provide feedback on designs and assembly procedures to improve efficiency and performance. Tool And Equipment Maintenance Operate and maintain a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized assembly equipment. Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition and calibrated as needed. Safety And Compliance Adhere to all safety protocols and standard operating procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area to support a safe and efficient workplace. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required; technical school certification or associate degree in a related field is a plus. 5+ years of experience in mechanical or electromechanical assembly, preferably in aerospace, energy, or industrial manufacturing environments. Skills & Competencies Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documents. Strong mechanical aptitude and precision handling of components. Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical systems is a plus. Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Comfortable standing and bending for extended periods. Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. The compensation range posted represents the full salary range for the role.
