Nurse Aide

Job Duties: Performs anycombination of following duties in care of residents under direction of nursingand medical staff. Answers signallights, bells, or intercom system to determine residents’ needs. Bathes, dresses,and undresses residents. Serves and collectfood trays and feeds residents requiring help after training. Transportsresidents, using wheelchair or wheeled cart, or assists residents to walk. Turns andrepositions residents requiring physical assistance, alone or with assistance,to maintain good skin integrity. Changes bedlinens, run errands, direct visitors, and answers telephone as needed. Food and fluidintake and output, as directed. Cleans,sterilizes, stores, prepares, and issues supplies as needed. Reports residentstatus to the nurse on duty and documents in the written medical record asrequired. May be assignedother duties. Concord Health Systems shall not use any individualworking in a facility as a nurse aide if within four (4) months the individualhas not completed and passed the nurse aide training and competency testing.
