Hybrid, Tuesday and Wednesday onsite Framingham, MA
Contract, 1+ year

Requirements 

• Highschool diploma
• Strong Microsoft Office skillset, Excel (feeling comfortable with basic formulas, sorting, etc) 
• 1+ years corporate experience, ideally in related purchasing area, vendor support or customer service with Bachelor’s degree

Preferred 

• Experience as a Merchandise Assistant 
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration or similar area
• Oracle purchase order experience
• Purchase order experience, including cancelling and revising PO’s, receiving proper approvals, communicating with suppliers for delivery tracking, managing the order fulfillment process for special projects and placing orders as needed.

This  Merchandise Assistant - Junior  role provides comprehensive support to a team of 2–4 Buyers and an AVP, acting as a vital liaison between the company and over 50 domestic and international vendors. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of purchase order management , including entry, tracking late shipments, and resolving cost discrepancies, while also handling high-volume vendor communications and general office operations. Beyond administrative tasks like travel coordination and spreadsheet maintenance, this position plays a hands-on role in merchandise logistics , where you will manage the sample process, organize buyer reviews, and collaborate with Planning & Allocation to ensure timely product flow.
