Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a stand-up forklift and picking orders using RF scan guns and handheld devices. You will work with a pick system that includes maps directing you to product locations. This role requires you to utilize an order picker to heights up to 26 feet while wearing a harness, and to regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs. The position is based in a large, non-climate-controlled warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up forklift 100% of the time.
• Pick orders using RF scan gun and handheld devices.
• Work from a pick system with maps directing product locations.
• Utilize order picker to heights up to 26 feet with a harness.
• Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs regularly.

Essential Skills

• Experience with order picking.
• Proficiency in operating a stand-up forklift.
• Skill in using RF scanners.
• Inventory management.
• Material handling expertise.

• Comfortable working at heights up to 26 feet.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bondurant, IA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
