Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Full-Time Days Location: Dayton, OH Job Id: 123 # of Openings: 1 Registered Nurse (RN) – Full-Time Days Facility: Kid's Thrive Dayton Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Shift: Full-Time Days Position Overview Kid's Thrive Dayton is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a full-time day shift. The RN will provide safe, high-quality patient care while collaborating with physicians, clinical staff, patients, and families to support positive outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established standards and clinical protocols. Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and recognize changes requiring intervention. Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans. Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely. Communicate effectively with physicians and members of the interdisciplinary care team. Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, care plans, and follow-up needs. Promote patient safety, comfort, dignity, and privacy at all times. Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection-control standards, and applicable regulations. Participate in quality-improvement and patient-safety initiatives. Qualifications Current and unrestricted RN license. Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Current BLS certification required. Previous clinical nursing experience preferred. Strong assessment, communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
